SVA Museum Benefits
As a benefit to students, faculty and staff, SVA maintains memberships at various New York City museums. As each institution has its own guidelines for entry, please review the information below. Please plan to follow all health and safety guidelines that the museums are requiring of all visitors.

- Advanced ticketing is strongly encouraged.

- Current SVA students, faculty and staff are entitled to redeem up to 1 complimentary general admission ticket per visit and are entitled to purchase 2 tickets to special exhibitions at a 40% discount.

- Free self-guided gallery visits for classes. To take advantage of this benefit, please notify Miranda Pierce, mpierce1@sva.edu, with the date and number of guests at least a week in advance.

TICKETING
- Corporate Members and their guests are not required to reserve timed tickets. Standard methods of admission apply. There is no need to reserve online tickets; just walk up to the entrance when you are ready for a visit.

- You can review the Whitney’s visitor policies in advance of your visit.
TICKETING
- Advanced ticketing is required.
- Complimentary tickets must be pre-booked through the Corporate Membership Ticketing page.
- Current students, faculty and staff can enter the unique promotional code SVA2 to receive their complimentary tickets. Promo codes can be added in the payment section, specifically in the “Have a Promo Code?” area. The discount will be applied for 2 tickets and any additional tickets will need to be purchased.
- Upon booking confirmation, tickets will be sent via email with a barcode that will be scanned upon entry to the Museum.
DISCOUNTS & OTHER BENEFITS
- For group visits, please complete this form. When filling out the form please answer ‘yes’ to the question “Is your company a Whitney Corporate Member?”The form references prices per visitor, but please note that group visits are complimentary for SVA students, faculty and staff with our membership. Whitney Visitor and Member Experience will be able to assist with booking the complimentary tickets for group visits. (Teaching Fellow led tours are available and not included in our membership: These tours are priced at $250 per hour.)

Additional Benefit for Faculty and Staff: SVA Library Is Now Circulating Corporate Membership Cards
SVA Library has corporate membership passes to the Museum of Modern Art and the Whitney Museum of American Art to circulate to SVA faculty and staff. These passes can be checked out from the circulation desk for one week at a time. Benefits include free admission and expedited entry to the museums for the cardholder and additional guests, as well as discounts at the museum shops and at select cafes in the museums.
The membership passes are available at the Main Library (380 Second Avenue, 2nd floor); to check them out from Library West (133/141 West 21st Street, lower level), please contact library staff in advance.
